Econcult’s team grows with the incorporation of Fernando Álvarez Teresa

València, 05/02/2020. Econcult increases its staff with the addition of Fernando Álvarez Teresa for the project “ES_CCAMVI: Strategies from Culture and Creativity for the change of the Valencian productive Model towards Innovation”. The project is part of the Prometeo Programme for research groups of excellence, funded by the Conselleria d’Hisenda i Model Econòmic de la Generalitat Valenciana.

ES_CCAMVI aims to articulate a strategy of socio-economic transformation for the Valencian Community, based on culture and creativity as drivers of innovation. In this sense, the completion of a doctoral thesis will increase the frontier of theoretical knowledge in the field of innovation, and ensure economic policy recommendations based on empirical evidence.

Fernando is an economist graduated from the University of Uviéu with a Master’s degree in Economic Policy and Public Economics from the University of Valencia. After an internship at Econcult, he has been working in the private sector at Culturalink S.L., a consultancy firm specialised in culture and communication, through which he has collaborated in numerous projects with the research unit. Interested in the interrelation of culture and creativity with innovation and regional development, Fernando is working on his doctoral thesis in the Doctoral Programme in Social Sciences.
